Both photo booth rentals and football season are in full swing!  Football games are always a great reason to do some entertaining!  The guys keep busy watching the game allowing the women to mingle and chat among one another.  Of course good food and snacks are a must for any joyous occasion.  Photo booth of the stars would like to share some really fun football theme ideas to give you a little inspiration for tonight’s game or your next party!

Football is such a fun theme that you can really go all out with and one everyone can relate too which makes for a fun occasion for kids and adults.  It’s also a great entertaining opportunity since there are so many no-fuss options for drinks and snacks which allows you to throw together all the goodies in a snap.  So let’s start with drinks.  A lot of men like to drink beer during football and sporting events, it is a staple.  So why not have some fun with the kids beverages and the other adults?

Photo booth of the stars likes to make everything fun and festive!  For the kiddos make it special for them so the get involved in the game too!  Aesthetics is everything so they have something interesting to look at when not watching the game.  Pick up some mini water or soda.  There is always something so intriguing about those little bottles that just make it seem so special.  Have you ever drank that $6 mini bottle of water at the hotel because it just seemed too appealing?  Give the kids something to make them feel special.  Get the mini cans of pop, or even better the classic pop bottles if you have them at your reach.  Kids love these too!

DIY Football Cups

 Now for the adults, there are so many fun cocktail recipes that you can find that are sports related.  Here are some festive ones we tracked down over at Chilled Magazine.  They all feature Bacardi rum and pair well with grilled meats and all your favorite tailgate style treats.

The Draft Pick

Ingredients:

  • 1 Part Bacardi Superior or Bacardi 8
  • 4 Parts ‘half and half’ half lemonade half iced tea

Instructions: Build on ice and garnish with a lemon wheel

Game Day Grog

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Bacardi Oakheart
  • 3/4 partsFresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 part cinnamon Syrup
  • 3 parts Octoberfest Lager
  • Nutmeg Dusted Granny Smith Apple Chunks

Instructions: Shake Rum, Lemon, and Syrup well, then add the beer to the rest of the ingredients before straining over over fresh ice. Garnish with Cubed Apples (nutmeg dust optional.)

Cinnamon syrup: Add 2 Cups of Sugar/2 Cups of Water/ 6 CInnamon Sticks to a pot. Place lid and bring all ingredients to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, then remove pot from heat. Let ingredients stand with lid on for 15 minutes. Place Ingredients in the freezer until cool, strain out cinnamon sticks, and bottle the syrup.

As for the food, when you think of football what do you usually think of?  Wings and beer?  Hot wings are a must have and there are so many varieties for you to purchase.  Go out and grab a bag of frozen wings if you don’t feel like making them from scratch, throw them in a festive football bowl and you are set!  Don’t forget the ranch, blue cheese, and celery in cute festive bowls and dishes as well.

Deviled eggs are always a crowd pleaser, and are pretty stress free to make.  You can even hard boil them days prior and store in the fridge until you are ready to assemble these devilishly cute footballs.  Just use chives for the laces!  Just be sure to make enough!
